In It to Win It: Customers to Benefit from VEKA Employee Training

More than 70 VEKA management professionals are in the process of attending specialized Leadership Training sessions being held at Penn State University. Beginning in January, and continuing through March, the sessions are part of VEKA's strategic objective to develop employee professional growth. These sessions are designed to improve skills in the areas of communication, team development and supervision.
According to Brian Shearer, VEKA Director of Human Resources, "Providing this training enables us to have an experienced, skilled, and qualified workforce with the know-how to produce the best products and services in the industry and our customers will be the beneficiaries."
"This training will help me empower my Customer Account Specialists to make their own decisions; give them an ownership attitude" says Dyan McCall, VEKA Customer Supply Chain Manager. "For individuals who are new to our operations management there is a wealth of information that will impact our operational efficiency, which is a big win for our customers."
