Today, Congressman Rothfus (PA-12) toured VEKA’s manufacturing facility in Fombell, Pennsylvania. During the site visit, he met with management and employees to discuss the impact of the new tax reform on the building industry.
“Tax reform puts us in a much better position internationally by lowering those rates. Prior to the reform we were the highest in the industrialized world. This is a much better deal for American businesses,” said Congressman Rothfus.
“We appreciate Congressman Rothfus's willingness to discuss what impacts our business and team members. As part of his visit, we addressed a number of concerns including the future of Energy Star as well as our request for more support for our dual model apprenticeship program,” stated Joe Peilert, VEKA President & CEO.
